The Custom FAQs page allows you to bypass the AI's standard generation process and force an exact, predefined response to specific user questions. This is highly useful for handling complex pricing inquiries, providing exact business hours, or issuing mandatory precise disclaimers.

Key Features

  • Exact Match Overrides: Define a specific user question and pair it with the exact text the bot should reply with.
  • Active Overrides Management: View a list of all your currently active custom FAQs and easily remove ones you no longer need.

How to Use

Adding a Custom FAQ Override

To create a new rule that forces the AI to use your exact text:

  1. Locate the form at the top of the page.
  2. In the Exact Question Match field, enter the specific question you want to intercept (e.g., "What is your pricing?").
  3. In the Exact Answer Reply field, type the exact response the bot must use when it receives that question.
  4. Click the black Add Override button to save it.

Managing Active Overrides

All of your saved FAQs will appear in the Active Overrides list at the bottom of the page.

  • The list displays your matched question (labeled with a Q) and your predefined answer (labeled with an A).
  • To delete an override and let the AI resume handling that question normally, hover over the specific FAQ block and click the red Remove button on the right side.

Important Notes (or Pro Tips)

  • Exact Matching: This feature relies on an exact question match. It is best used for highly predictable, frequently asked questions where you need absolute control over the response.
  • Required Fields: You must provide text in both the Question and Answer fields to successfully add an override.
