AI Community Insights
Last updated on March 26, 2026
Apoyo provides a nightly automated summary of missing documentation and top feature requests to help you continually improve your customer experience. By analyzing user feedback while you sleep, the AI Community Insights feature acts as your automated product analyst, delivering actionable takeaways directly to your dashboard.
Key Features
- Automated Nightly Analysis: Runs automatically every night to analyze your workspace's recent activity.
- Knowledge Gap Identification: Reviews user queries that received a "thumbs down" (failed chat queries) to find areas where your documentation is lacking.
- Feature Request Prioritization: Analyzes the top upvoted requests from your community feedback forum.
- Actionable Summaries: Synthesizes complex data into 2-3 short, direct, and actionable bullet points.
How to Use
Because this feature is fully automated, there is no setup required on your end. Here is how you can view and utilize your insights:
Viewing Your Insights
- Navigate to the Analytics tab in your Apoyo dashboard.
- Locate the AI Community Insights card.
- Review the AI-generated bullet points. Use these insights to write new Help Center articles to cover knowledge gaps, or prioritize the features your community is asking for the most.
How the AI Generates Insights
Every night, the system gathers the following data:
- Up to the 50 most recent failed chat queries (where users clicked the thumbs down / "Not helpful" button).
- The Top 10 most upvoted posts from your Feedback Board.
The AI model then reviews this data to identify trends and outputs a concise summary of what you should focus on next.
Important Notes (or Pro Tips)
- Data Thresholds: To prevent the AI from generating insights based on insufficient data, the system will only generate a summary if there are at least 5 negative chat feedbacks OR at least 3 top forum posts available to analyze.
- Insufficient Data: If your workspace has not yet met the data thresholds mentioned above, the insights card in your dashboard will display the message: "Not enough data yet to generate insights.".
